Arrival & Transportation

We are so excited for you to come experience the beauty of St. George, Utah!

If flying, we recommend arriving to Harris Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS), or St. George Regional Airport (SGU) here in St. George, Utah. These airports are closest to our location and provide direct transportation to campus. Check your enrollment checklist for information about the recommended date of arrival for your admission term and to determine whether complementary airport pick-up is being offered by our office.

Flying to Las Vegas

Arriving to Las Vegas is a popular choice among international students as it typically offers the cheapest airfare. The airport is approximately 2hrs away from UT’s campus in St. George.

Shuttle services are available throughout the day to transport you from the airport to UT’s campus. Complementary airport pick-up may also be offered by the Utah Tech University international office. Check your enrollment checklist for more information.

Flying to St. George

If you are flying directly to the St. George Regional Airport during the week before classes, the Utah Tech Office of International Programs (OIP) staff is usually able to pick you up from the airport and bring you to your student housing location.

Please request airport pick-up as early as possible so that we can make arrangements to accommodate your request.

Arriving by Shuttle

If you are already in Utah or the nearby area, you may choose to arrive by shuttle. Students who arrive to Las Vegas airport on days when OIP is not offering complementary pick-up should also use shuttle service to get from Las Vegas to St. George. Both shuttles have a drop-off location on campus.
